Cycling Ireland Awards

A great night at the Cycling Ireland Awards last night. Great to catch up with friends in the off-season. Was a bit worried about the waiver I had to sign buying the ticket! But I was glad that it wasn't so hazardous after all.

Congratulations to Darragh Zaidan on being selected to represent Ireland on the National Team for the 2011 Junior Tour of Ireland (12-17 July). Well deserved Darragh!!

Giro d'Italia Celebration

Giro d'Italia celebration-special class Thursday!!!
Due to the fact that the club races are not on this week and the weather is crazy,

I'm putting on a special one off class at 7.30pm Thursday.
We'll be doing the famous Monte Zoncolan Stage from Saturday in the Giro d'Italia.

A mountain stage where we'll have the toughest part at the end,

in the form of a very long Monte Zoncolan climb!
